Jim Schoemehl 2019
The 18th annual Jim Schoemehl Run is dedicated to uniting St. Louis in the fight against ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) and to supporting a local family. The run takes place at Webster Groves High School on May 4th, 2019. Runners, trotters and walkers are welcome (bring strollers if you’d like!), and all ages are free to participate in the 5k, 10k, and 1 mile fun run.
This year’s theme is The Kentucky Derby, so bring your very best hat!

The Jim Schoemehl Run team would like announce that we will be supporting Denis Hart and his family in the 18th annual event.
Just a few years before his diagnosis of ALS in July 2018, Denis was an avid runner and athlete. Races are near and dear to his heart, so what better way to stand with him and his family than by participating in something he so loves?

There are other ways to get involved.
There are more ways to contribute to the Jim Schoemehl Run other than running in it. Volunteering, donations, and sponsorships are also much appreciated. In the fight against ALS, any bit helps to support the families who have fallen victim to it.
Anyone can volunteer the morning of the run. Opportunities include helping set up, decorating, child care, and more.
Proceeds go towards the sponsored family and The ALS Association . No amount is an amount too small.
Without sponsors, The Jim Schoemehl Run could not be what it is today. We are very thankful for our partnerships. Old and new.
